Fish Applique - Bookmark

Back to Home Page

This bookmark is to Honor, my brother,
JON ERIKSON.
On June 15, 2014 he was inducted into the
International Swimming Hall of Fame.
3 Cheers!  We are all so proud of you!
On August 11-13, 1981, Jon was the first person EVER, to swim
The English Channel Three Ways non Stop! (38 hours and 27 minutes)
He and his father, TED ERIKSON, both swim like FISH!
Unfortunately, I did not get that gene, but I do like to take baths.

In 1981, we were living in Japan.
We were all huddled around the radio,
listening to the Armed Forces Radio.
We were elated to hear that
Jon was the first person ever to accomplish
the Triple Cross of the English Channel.
 Yea!

Just wanted to share this great piece of News:
On June 13, 2014,
 Jon Erikson (MY BROTHER)
will be inducted into the
